Hello PTA Members!
As always, our hearts are with our VIDA community as we continue the transition into virtual schooling. Along with the new distance learning format, PTA is adjusting and doing our best to keep our school connections, virtually. Here are a few updates and events for the month of May.

Staffulty Appreciation Week!
Our traditional luncheon has been postponed until we can come together again. We encourage you to participate this week, May 4th-8th, through our virtual celebration on our Facebook page. If you are not on Facebook, please feel free to send photos to vidaptainfo@gmail.com so we can share them. Daily themes will be posted in the morning and you can participate at any time. If you would prefer, a note of appreciation can be emailed directly to our incredible VIDA staffulty. Staff emails are available under the faculty/contact us tab on the school website. We appreciate all of their flexibility and dedication during these challenging times.

PTA Elections
May 14th is our annual election meeting and last association meeting of the year. A Zoom link will be emailed to members shortly. Please join us in electing the 2020-21 Executive Board. This is a critical step in maintaining funding and support for the 20-21 school year. Our organization is also learning to adapt and meet the needs of our new online world and this will be our first virtual election! One way to continue your support of our school community is to renew your PTA membership online through Totem, our electronic membership platform. Whether you will be a continuing VIDA family, VIDA staffulty, or one of our valuable alumni, your membership is appreciated. Renewal emails will come in June so please mark your calendars.

We've got you covered with awesome VIDA face masks and more! The VIDA face mask ordering deadline is MONDAY, MAY 11th. Look for more details in your VIDA newsletter from the front office or click here to order.

Have you enrolled in SCRIP?
Scrip is our online fundraising program that helps bring support funding to VIDA. With over 300 retailers, your everyday purchases can help our very own VIDA sharks.
