WE NEED YOU! Make a difference in the and take part in the VIDA Community! Our Snack Shack runs on Hot Cheeto power and parent volunteers like you! We need parent volunteers to help make it a sucess. Can you commit to one of the following? One hour lunch shift per month. One hour lunch shift per week. One day per month (3 hours) We have 24 shifts we need to cover each month. When you commit to one of the schedules above, it makes a huge impact for our team! Talent Show Thursday, October 16, 5-7pm VIDA’s Annual Talent Show is Coming! Get ready for an evening of fun, creativity, and community at VIDA’s Annual Talent Show!   Auditions: October 6th, 4:00–6:00 PM in the VIDA Spotlight All performances must be 2 minutes or less. Performers must bring pre-cut music (MP3 files) prepared for their act. All talents welcome: bands, singers, dancers, comedians, and more!   Showtime: October 16th, 5:30–7:30 PM (doors open at 5:00 PM) This year’s theme is “Medieval Talent” Enjoy food trucks, snacks, house merchandise, and special goodies available for purchase.   PTA will be setting up tables for food and drinks. Volunteer at the Talent Show Amazon Wishlist Ushaka, Dakuwaqa, Caerban, Tenguzame!  If you haven't heard about the VIDA house system yet, prepare yourself for another middle school language your kid is coming home using!   The houses provide students with opportunities to earn points for positive behavior. This wish list will help support House Events. Buy a Wishlist Item Snack Shack Club Interest Meeting It's time for the return of our Snack Shack Club!  We will be hosting an Interest Meeting on Monday October 13 at 9am for students. Parents who are would like to learn more about helping out with the club are welcome to attend the interest meeting too!   Parents are not required to attend regular club meetings.   This is a 2-part club: The Club and The Shifts. The club is where we learn and prepare for the Shifts. The Shifts are where we practice what we've learned.
